What does Focus Box actually do?

Focus Box connects to your Gmail or Microsoft Outlook inbox and applies Gmail Labels or Outlook Categories to incoming messages so each message is tagged with its priority level (Urgent, High, Medium, or Low). There is no separate inbox or app to check.

Which email providers and account types are supported?

Focus Box supports Gmail (personal Gmail and Google Workspace where the account owner has authorized access) and Microsoft accounts (hotmail.com, live.com, outlook.com, and Microsoft 365 / Exchange work accounts where the account owner has granted access).

How long is the free trial, and what happens after it ends?

The free trial is 30 days and no credit card is required to start. When the trial ends without a subscription, Focus Box stops processing new messages; any labels or categories already applied remain in your inbox. You can subscribe at any time to resume sorting.

How much does Focus Box cost?

After the free trial, Focus Box is $4.99 per month or $20 per year (limited time offer). Billing is handled by Lemon Squeezy.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open Settings inside Focus Box and use the Manage billing action to reach the Lemon Squeezy customer portal, where you can cancel or update your subscription.

Does Focus Box store my email content?

No. Sender, subject, and body content are processed in real time to classify each message and then discarded. Only the provider's unique email ID is retained so Focus Box can avoid reclassifying the same email. Email content is never stored on Focus Box servers.

How are OAuth tokens and payment data handled?

OAuth tokens are encrypted before they are written to the database. Focus Box never stores payment card details; billing is handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy.

What is the Safety Net Digest?

The Safety Net Digest is a daily summary email listing any unread messages Focus Box classified as Urgent or High. It is a backup for when you have been away from your inbox. You can enable, disable, and configure the digest delivery time from Settings.

What are email rules?

Email rules let you map specific senders or sender domains to a specific priority level, regardless of how Focus Box would otherwise classify the message. Rules always override the AI classification for matching senders.

How do I delete my account?

Email [email protected] from the address on your account and we will process the deletion request.
